London. January 1st 1956
Dear Gabriella « and husband »,
Many thanks for your nice letters containing photos which we liked very much. We also admired the photo of your charming children with yourself at home. You really can be proud of
them indeed. Olga and I trust your husband and yourself will keep a good remembrance of London during your short stay here. We do hope you have a better weather over the holiday than we had here. Except
Christmas day wich was glorious we had since nothing else but rain and strong gales! On Christmas day we motored far into the country for 3 1/2 hours and it was a great sensation to notice the roads were all
clear empty of cars, and pedestrians! As the English celebrate Christmas in family circle at home! In the evening we also had our Christmas dinner, drinking also the health and good luck to oll our dear,
and near ones your family husband, and yourself included. Trusting you are keeping in good health, as we are here with all best wishes for the New year and many greetings we remain affectionately your uncle and
auntie.
Joseph and Olga Zitelli
